Post-Fair Dismantling and Storage Guide

The fair closes and everyone leaves; but the moment that needs real attention for the stand begins. If dismantling is done well, reuse of the stand becomes possible.

Dismantling order and safety

Dismantling should be done in the reverse order of installation and according to safety rules. Other parts should not be touched before electrical connections are cut and screens and lights are taken down.

Protecting parts

Glass, mirror and printed surfaces should be packed separately and protected. Parts are placed in numbered crates; screws, fasteners and small parts are kept in labelled boxes.

Storage and area handover

In storage, parts should be protected from moisture and crushing. The fair area should be handed over as clean as the organiser requires and within the time; otherwise extra charges may arise.
